The Berry Goan

18 May 2006 7 Comments

There was a story that Addie made up about 6 months ago. It involved “The Berry Goan”. The Berry Goan has evolved over that time from an old woman, to a dragon, to a goat, and now to a person who eats everything, (and I’ll give away the ending here) he even eats people.

Today’s podcast features my music. Lacking words I put the headphones on my daughter (she’s still three), set her in front of the mic and this is what came out.

It is a songcast, and you can find information about my songcasts on the right under More Sonicist Stuff.

Please enjoy this mp3, The Berry Goan ©2006.

Yea!!! Awesome job, Addie (and Ian)!! Daniel really likes this song!! He wants to know if Addie has toys – I think he’d like to play with her! :-)

Thanks, I thought it might be a hit with the kids out there. It was a lot of fun. My favorite part is the “Leaks water out of cups”.

So, If we could get the Berry Goan to go to DC, and have him be hungry at the time…

That’s a fine suggestion. I am curious if the Berry Goan eats people because he loves them or if he eats people he doesn’t love.

Wow! Glad I caught this. Congratulations, Addie and Ian! Any chance of writing down the words to read while she sings?

I found that when I clicked on your statement to listen to MP3 by the copyrited sign I could hear the Berry Goan but not just clicking on the top–Music, etc. I wonder how many people can’t hear the music. Maybe instructions at the top might help more enjoy your site.

The “top-Music” I believe, is the name of the article and not the music file. I have posted instructions at one point long ago, but for the most part I do not receive all that much traffic and most people can click on the song and hear or access the mp3 or .mov file. Thanks for the suggestion.
