We have more snow than we know what to do with, and more is expected later this week. Laura and Addie dug out a fort, our house is covered in ice and snow and we passed 18 total accumulated inches at one time.

It started with about 6 inches and the storm passed bringing cold that kept the snow on the ground. We got a second storm that dropped another 5 inches on top of that.

We are back in Ohio. We miss Croatia, and were sad leaving, yet it is nice to be home, if only because the sky doesn’t get light until 5:30, instead of 4:00 AM.
Our flights went well, and the kids were great. We stayed overnight in London for a night which helped to break up the traveling. I think G is a little amazed to be back, but really, by the time we got back to our house it was midnight for all of us (even though it was only …

Today Addie got on the school bus for the first time. She was so excited. She had planned on sitting in the back but was thrilled no less with her seat near the front.

We love our new home. It is across from a park, and has sidewalks, and the house itself is really great.

Since leaving daycare, Griffin’s language skill have just taken off. He loves talking about the lights – the Kitties, the dog, he loves saying ‘Done” and “All Done” and more. I’ll get a pic up …

This week is the big week. We begin packing and loading and we will be gone on Thursday.
Its sad, its exciting… its hard work.

We just spent 2 days (+ two travel days) in Cowtown looking at probably right around 50 houses in 2 days. We have found several that we like and are making offers. Suddenly, moving to Ohio is happening very quickly.
Addie had her 5th on the 22nd – a day spent driving home – On Sunday and Monday she drove all over with Mom and Dad and Jill-the-agent looking at house after house after house. She was so good it blows my mind. With every house one has to be emotionally …
