I have been only working half/time on potty training. Last night we were at a restaurant and Griffin says, “I gotta go potty.”
I take him to the urinal and he goes, standing up.
Then this morning he tells me he has to go poo – and sure enough he does.
Yeah. But now I gotta help him every time he says he gots to go.
Oh well. He’s growing up.

I picked up glasses today. I got bi-focals. It kind of sucks, but they do make reading better. When I walk with them the world feels like its spinning and it’s difficult to know what’s coming next. And for the time being, they kind of give me a headache.
Addie says that they make me look like a wizard.
There’s a good kid.

We did Disney and it was great. I was worried about the little boy having fun, but he had a blast and skipped naptime completely. LJ got to ride Space Mountain.
Addie had a great time as well. I took her back to the magic kingdom last night and it was fun. The fireworks were really worth being sleepy this AM.
Again, I have pics, but I can’t put them up right now.

I hope to post some good pictures of the adventure at some point. However, I am traveling without my computer so getting the images from the camera to the internet is all but impossible. We have been doing a lot of swimming …

Today is my birthday.
We went into Zagreb and walked around the market. It was great. Everyone is so firendly. They all love kids and people stop and jibber at Griffin and Addie, and when I say that we speak English they just wave their hands make some joke and keep on jibberishing away.
The flower market was a wonderful welcome to a taste of what spring will be like. Refreshing aromas and bouquets surrounded us, flowers on all sides sold by people who cared for them gingerly; many that …

I was in this band, like in 1999, called Fishnak and we did a cover of Boppin the Blues by Carl Perkin. Actually this is my arrangement, if I might say so, instrumentation by other players is their own including awesome guitar solo by Al Schmit.
I guess because I am not writing music now I am instead looking and listening to some of the older projects that I have been in. Its a fun way to reflect.
